Problem
Do you realise that when we eat a pineapple, we only eat half of it? In Hong Kong, there is currently no professional recycling system for pineapple by-products. Nearly all of them end up in landfills.
This project set out to change that — by turning pineapple waste into a sustainable cleaning brand called Pina~Pure.
Piña-Pure
From Pineapple By-products to Everyday Freshness
Developed a sustainable cleaning brand using upcycled pineapple by-products — from concept, market research, and product photography to a pilot workshop, user feedback collection, and a full start-up report documenting the entire entrepreneurial journey.
